I'm a huge lady Gaga fan lol. But Nothing I've heard from the album has really motivated me to listen to it.
Applause is ok, DWUW is dope, and the guy song or whatever is wack as **** and overproduced so I never really gave it a try. Might give it shot though..
I see his hating ass shut up now that he knows My everything sold well. She's been at this for less then 2 years, ive her a brak. The fact that she is on the rise when some people's faves are crashign and bruning has them fuming.
Girl don't, most collaborations are thrown together liek that with people recording different verses like that. My Everything has sold 1.1 million worldwide and 506k in the U.S. in just 4 months.
She alienated her fanbase with all the hit singles and every pop star stars with slow albums sales, Katy, Rih. Also she is no more manufactured then any other pop star and I love ha voice so.... I do think she needs to work out her breath control and complete lack of presence in videos/performances. Se's dull AF. Her new single is coming out July 2015 so she won't really have time though
Listen, I think Ariana has talent. I'll give her that, she has a nice voice but I think her talent is being misguided and taken advantage of. I can already tell they're not gonna let her get a break anytime soon. She's gonna mess around and ruin her voice. But I still prefer her on stage over some girl who can't sing at all.

Speaking of, It's no secret that I love love love love LOVE 1989 but can we please talk about how I've never heard Taylor be on key while hitting the high note in Shake It Off (or any other song)? I need her to stand still and concentrate.
Ariana just doesn't have the It factor to be huge and compete with the other girls. At least they carved out their own identity in some way shape or form.

I do agree about G.U.Y being overproduced, I didn't like that song until Gaga served a video for it and I saw what she had in mind for it. Still not my fave, but DWUW is such an amazing song IMHO. That's the one ARTPOP song I know I'll still be listening to in 10 years.

I wouldn't pay to see Ari live either, but she's my new fave. I dying at all those bum notes and her struggling for breath. They need to stop trying to market her as a great vocalist when she really isn't THAT good, she's better then most these pop stars though.
Also yea MM3 her team is legit forcing her to put **** out. She's CONSTANTLY promoting it's unreal. Her album has BOPS though. If you're wondering abour Bang Bang that and Love Me Harder both had different artist they we're trying ot promote (Jessie J & The Weeknd) on it just for thta purpose. I think that's the only reason they got so much payola radio support.
She didn't even know Problem (HER LEAD ****ING SINGLE) was going to make the album, let alone be the lead single and when they told her she did not agree and didn't even like the song. Santa tell me she didn't want to release either. I feel like they just have her record **** then put out whatever they feel like. Beak free is the onyl song she conciously claims she wanted to be a single.
She considers Problem "too high" "too shrill" and "not her".
The breathing and the enunciation can fix, but you get no feeling from her music, no identity. Anybody can sing her songs IMO.
Rihanna does the same ****, but at least you get *some* Rihanna in it.
Naw not anyone can sing a Rihanna song. Rihanna definitely has her own identity and voice whether people want to admit or not. Umbrella wouldn't have been as big if MJB or Britney sung it. We Found Love wouldn't have been as big if Leona sung it. Diamonds sure as hell wouldn't have been huge if it wasn't for Rihanna. Ariana is just... paper. Blank paper that you can change the color on.

"Blank Space" isn't bad to be honest. Maybe I've gotten used to it - as it is played EVERYWHERE - but it's not bad at all. Have not listened to her album, however, and don't plan in it.
