Xtina does public notice for The Great Barrier Reef
+ goes viral in a matter of days

Yesterday afternoon, it was revealed on Christina Aguilera's official VEVO page that she has done a public notice for The Great Barrier Reef to spread awareness as to how we can conserve the beautiful nature and sea creatures there without overall damaging its entire infrastructure. This comes as a pleasant surprise since many overlook the fact that we should care about the planet and the environment which surrounds us instead of taking advantage of that, essentially causing destruction that could have a long-term impact for future generations. Christina has previously expressed her determination to rid The Great Barrier Reef of its pollution ever since the Mexican Gulf oil leak threatened to put it at a high risk situation. The Australian Government has tried to implement laws to avoid any such bastardisation of The Great Barrier Reef, however, many have found loopholes around it so there's other way to protect The Great Barrier Reef until the next election which isn't for a good 2 years. By then, The Great Barrier Reef may no longer exist. That would extremely detrimental to our eco-system and could lead to a domino effect occurring. Aguilera's involvement with the campaign could prove to be a great investment because she has a pretty significant following and that could spread awareness in places that aren't as exposed to the horrors of The Great Barrier Reef.
The Great Barrier Reef, as you can tell by it's honourable name, is the world's largest coral reef system. It's composed of over 2, 900 individual reefs and 900 islands. This is why it's so urgent and important to protect The Great Barrier Reef due to how much of a phenomena it is, environmentally-speaking. It's Australia's biggest source of income so, not only is it detrimental for the environment, it also means that Australia might lose out on some big bucks which is highly risky especially with the economy worsening in such a climate as the one we're going through as of now.
In the actual public notice, Christina was addressing the masses with a very direct message: "Hi, it's Christina Aguilera here and I'm about to tell you how bad The Great Barrier Reef has become over the past decade and a half. The amount of waste we are polluting in these oceans and riverbeds have become a travesty. We will not stand for this any longer! So I, Christina, pledge that we shall be held responsible for whatever happens to The Great Barrier Reef in the near future. I hope everyone out there considers whether it's truly worth seeing this beautiful planet crumble before our very eyes. Thank you for listening. Enjoy your day." A bunch of tragic images pop up on screen of The Great Barrier Reef decaying.

A respectable amount of donations have been drown in because of Christina's public notice. This shows how much of a following Christina has, not just in America, but also on a global scale. The public notice also went viral upon its release. The video is still gaining momentum as we speak.
Xtina's lead single, Waves is now available for PURCHASE.

Christina Aguilera's Maxim Spread
Photoshoot + Interview

In this bumper-pack edition and this week's issue of Maxim 2015, Christina Aguilera - the voice of our generation - EXPOSES her most cherished secrets and gives us a clear definition of what "being sexy" means to her. Finally! We hope you look forward to what Aguilera has up her sleeve this era. A few days ago, she released her lead single - Waves - which is produced by the Grammy award-winning Mark Ronson who just might have another timeless hit on his hands. Christina's 8th upcoming album, of which Waves' is gonna be featured on, is yet to have a title although sources suggest that something special (most likely an announcement) is coming next week. That should be a nice treat, don't you agree? It's also been confirmed by Christina herself that the long-awaited album will be executively produced by Paul Epworth who is known for his refined productions. This the 5th time Christina Aguilera has covered one of our issues before, with her 2002 and 2006 editions being amongst the most notable. We are always glad to have Christina back and it was great fun working with her on this week's issue of Maxim 2015.
Are you ready to delve deep into Christina's love life? Or are you more about the music not the bling? Our favourite blue-eyed soul singer shall tell us what she really thinks of our generation's slew of pop girls and why social media should be taken advantage of in this day and age. If you'd like to know more about how Aguilera keeps such a trememndous voice intact and in good condition, then you must read on! You'd be a fool to miss out on our exclusive interview with Christina.
MX: How are you, Christina?
CA: Absolute bliss, just a state of pure ecstasy. I really do appreciate it when somebody asks how I am or if I'm okay, you know? Because, you know, sometimes you get lonely and it's as if people don't care but yeah I love the finer things in life. 2014 was such an amazing year. I already feel as though 2015 will be an even better year, but we shall wait and see. Don't want to jinx this kind of stuff ahead of time and whatnot. I love my life. It's a shame that we can't admit these things anymore in fear of being excluded. If you are feeling down, just know that you are never alone in this world even if it may seem that way. Keep on keepin' on and maybe, just maybe, you'll find the way. My children mean everything to me. They're always on mind every second of the day. It's true what they say, you will never understand unless you know and unless you've actually been there yourself. I think that's a Bob Marley quote, actually! I'm definitely in a great place in my life. That's something I'm so thankful for. My husband is my rock. Whenever **** hits the fan, he's there. There's nothing more dangerous than a boy with charm. That's for sure! Everything's all falling into place. I've been working on my 8th upcoming studio album and I'm just like damn, 8 is a pretty big number in terms of the music industry. But I've been at it, in this game, for at least 15 years. I'm still learning each and every day.
MX: Tell us a bit about your lead single.
CA: My lead single, Waves, produced by the wonderful Mark Ronson is a true masterpiece and I invested a lot of my own energy into it. It's great seeing your work develop before your eyes, you know? It's always nice to see such a positive response when you finally release it to the matters. Of course, people have opinions and this and that but none of that matters in the long-term. I'm constantly improving, wanting to do better so I think there's an element of competitiveness in that regard. I spent three whole days writing and composing Waves with my gorgeous friend, singer-songwriter Matt Morris. Shoutout! But no, I'm really excited to see how well this track does and if it's well-received or otherwise. I'm just glad I've finally put it out, if we're getting down to the nitty-gritty stuff. So yeah, Waves is definitely a favourite of mine. I'd say anyways.
MX: What shall we expect from your 8th upcoming studio album?
CA: Well, you're all obviously expecting big things from such a big record. I'll be taking a really different approach from what I've done in the past. The album is very experimental in nature and aims to be indie with some rock influences and hip hop-inspired beats. It's all very raw and authentic - that's the word I'd describe it as! And, actually, I can now exclusively reveal that my 8th upcoming studio album will be entitled Truth Pill. The name alone makes me want to squeal in excitement and delight! My album toys with this concept of what's reality and whether our perception of reality affects the bigger picture and whatnot. There are a few great collaborations on there that I'm extremely proud of. A few names may surprise you but I'm sure everything will boil over well...eventually. I can't say a whole lot more but I will say that Truth Pill pushes the full extent of my artistry and the boundaries surrounding it. Now shhh!

MX: Moving on to more personal matters, what do you like to do in your spare time?
CA: Um, I like to read. A lot. My current obsession I have are contemporary novels like Rainbow Rowell and some older classics from Lewis Carroll, of course, to the more complex George Orwell. I'm a huge Oscar Wilde nut! His poems truly speak to me. I sometimes take inspiration from them, actually. John Green is great for reading while on the road. I also love, absolutely adore arcade games. I do check out the newer stuff but I've always been fond of the more retro-ish stuff. I grew up on Pacman and everything else, you know? I used to take my very own gameboy to school. That was before the bullying got really harsh but you get the gist of it.
MX: How do you define "sexy"?
CA: There is no definition, I feel. Being sexy is something that you exude. It's not supposed to be defined like a textbook definition of it. Sexiness is similar to love, in that way. I don't think we could ever say that this means that and that means this. Not everything is as black and what as it may seem. There's always room from a little grey area up in there!
MX: Is sexiness something that can't be taught?
CA: God, that's a loaded question! We're constantly evolving as human beings so it would make sense that there is an aspect of sexiness which is taught since you do typically see babies doing a ****drop while watching the Teletubbies now, do you? But to answer your question: sexiness is effortless. There's of course no knowledge without practise but I feel like everyone has a degree of sexiness. From the way they walk to the way they showcase their charisma.

Just got a new charger, my mom's mad at me and I slept for only like 6 hours. What a terrible way to start a day.
Anyways, what's up with you all? What happened here? Who reported Giselle?
Any questions?

Well Jax explained last page that he had posted an article about some NYE concert and Giselle said he wanted to do the same and that he posted in the thread about it a few days. Giselle got reported for one of his posts then he posted another one and got reported for that one as well. He says he knows who reported him so just ask him
As for myself, when will we be able to start posting Week #2's articles?
