Born This Way ball was such an awful tour
that performance where she stands in that robotic thing and rolls around
She was never competition for Madonna's tours

I'd hesitate to say that SIO still sounds "fresh." It's fine and all, a catchy pop song, but "fresh" is a bit much
I don't think Problem sounds any worse than it

I am so mad that Firework turned out to be the real classic, and not Bad Romance.

Nah, Shake It Off is timeless. I can still listen to it and it is still fresh, whereas we all got tired of Blank Space by the second week.

lol. Firework was always bigger than BR (atleast on this side of the world) and only the delusional monsters refused to believe it.
It's obviously clear now, though.

2014 gave us so many great songs
Id make a list if i cared but....
I am more concerned with the few absolutely brilliant albums we got. I never Learn, mini world, and terral. probs forgetting some too.

Blank Space isn't a good song so this comparison doesn't work

And Problem is so much better than SIO (which is a terrible song). Y'all let success blind you so easily. lol.

you mean only on that side of the world. it's only relevant in anglophone countries. there's a reason why it never made any ifpi lists.

Very true, hence The Fame Monster outselling Katy's whole discography worldwide

Shake it Off is the new Drunk In Love.
It will get old and genuinely embarrasing soon enough.
Both songs were already rly bad tho
