Word of mouth is indeed the best promotion one can get tbh. The Lord didn't have it on her side during the Speak Now & the RED eras. Going full pop & pandering to what tumblr likes really helped her rather than damage her. She used to be a guilty pleasure during the RED era but now people of all demographics openly admit liking her. What a genius she is!

One of my friends called her a "phony" last year because she was fake and labeled herself country instead of pop. She came up to me the other day and said that she loves BS and loves the "new" Taylor now.

How else are her average ticket prices (nearly) as high/higher than the highest price? It's not the first time Katy's team inflates her receipts (ie: OOTB selling 5M, Teenage Dream selling 11M, Prism selling 5M, etc)
Rih and Britney are like on the same level when it comes to touring atm, but at least the latter is a legend.

Shake It Off and Blank Space did great things for Taylor's image. Great single choices even tho I have been tired of BS since its second week. Ready for the Style massacre.
I'd never pay that much for her or any popgirl. The most I paid was like 150$ for JT but it was definitely worth it.
