The pop/'punk' instrumentals on TBDT are very 2000 and late
But, Keep Holding On, Alone, I Will Be, Runaway are still so amazing
Girlfriend aged surprisingly well. You can tell it's from the 2000s, but it doesn't sound "dated" in a bad sense. More in a good, nostalgic sense.
I actually don't like When You're Gone or Keep Holding On. I think they both verge on the sappy, generic AC pop/rock side. Avril has a TON of better ballads on other albums.
The part where she sings "Turn the music up until the ground starts to shake" is like the only pleasant part, but I don't even think that's her singing.
I've been meaning to watch this, but the trailer is pretty uninteresting.
The story is very straight forward but the acting and emotion is what makes the movie. It's a rollercoaster of emotions.
certain scenes with children are disturbing tho, like the entire story is based on a mother trying to find where her kid is.

I was surprised how much I ended up loving Goodbye Lullaby. I prefer her more acoustic and personal side., which is what most of the album is besides WTH & Smile.
What the Hell is amazing, though. Pop done right. Smile is awful.
