"Hot Pot" is Katy's lead single for her upcoming album, "Forbidden". It's a dance pop track, produced by the big names in the dance industry, David guetta, Calvin Harris and of course, Benny Blanco. Just yesterday, Katy announced her upcoming album and lead single on Good Morning America. Today, Katy visited the top radio station all over the country, premiering her lead single, named "Hot Pot" which is written by Katy, Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris and was produced by Benny Blanco, David Guetta and Calvin. Katy's visit included an interview and the airing of her lead single.

As Avril Lavigne announced her new record deal, new single release, an album in the works, Paragon Records and Lavigne is taking everything about her career seriously. For Avril's newest single "I'll Lie To Myself," She will be reunited with her "Nobody's Home" music video director, Diane Martel. The said video was cited as one of the best videos Lavigne has ever made from her sophomore album "Under My Skin" for its brilliant storyline and acting from Lavigne.

But Leto warns the fans that the video is not mushy or cheesy and people will understand what he's saying when they get to see the music video's twist.

The singer uploaded a picture on her instagram and twitter, saying I'm Ready Now, Tonight on iTunes. Her fans are going crazy on twitter, first they thought it was a joke, then Vanessa replied and said: "New music coming tonight. Not the first single but new music."

Then she continued by saying: "#Clue1: I'm not by myself on the song guess who features in it"

A few hours after the worldwide release of her lead single, "hot pot", Katy's label announced the cooperation between the label and Spotify. The top streaming service will serve the "Hot Pot" banner to all of its users who are going to listen to the 20 seconds snippet of "Hot Pot" regularly during the whole week. The song has already gained a lot of streams on Spotify and the rest of the streaming services, too.

IGN: Rockstar Games and Jordin Set to release a new Grand Theft Auto

Jordin Sparks and Video Games? Two things that were never thought of especially this one she is about to cameo/star in. Sparks is known for her love for Nintendo games like Pokemon and Animal Crossing but she is bridging over to a action packed blood game.
Sam Houser took some questions from us about her newly announced partnership with them.
Here they are:

How were you informed that Jordin wanted to voice a game?
Houser: Actually we were planning a Grand Theft Auto to be released in 2015 and we wanted something to be more different. So we reached out to a few people in artist management and Genesis Entertainment was the first to respond. Not to mention girls play games too, so we decided to create a female character that resembles Jordin Sparks. And of course you can change the hair and features in the upcoming game. Even more so she voices the character and what she says is way too funny. Her character says such things from "F*ck out the way" to things as "Oh no dont!" Jordin also helped us create some a new aspect to the game

So its now optional to play as a female?
Houser: Yes! The story line is different for the girl. Its based on some of Jordin's life + some usual GTA story lines. So Male and Female roles are playable. Also both the characters meet at many points in the game

Does any of her songs feature in the game?
Houser: Yes! There is a song she have played in the strip club in the game called "Double Tap" and another called "More Than Happy" in the opening credits

Finally, What is the title of the game?
Houser: Grand Theft Auto: Untold Stories. It should be out around late 2015

After releasing her highly-anticipated lead single to ‘#TurntUp2’, Céline Dion had a phone call interview with Billboard. With the Kuntaliciou$-featured “Pu$$y Be Flamin’” atop digital retailers around the globe, Dion was already winning. Having done minimal to hype the release of it, she sat pretty confident and spoke very highly and confidently of the project with good faith. ‘#TurntUp2: Le Unreal Slayáge’, is scheduled for a February release, with another single on the way next month.

Hello Céline! I imagine you must be very pleased with today?
Correct. Myself, Kuntaliciou$, Lone, Giorgio and Terius have been waiting incredibly patiently to release this track, so after months and months of waiting, you can imagine that we’re thrilled.

Your single has immediately topped the iTunes charts in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada- and more. Did you expect this type of success?
Definitely with France and Canada… just because I have such a high status there, especially with the French albums I’ve released in the past. With Britain, I guess- I have promoted there quite a lot over the last few months with ‘#TurntUp’ so yeah. I was definitely taken aback by hitting #1 in the US though, and I think I’m still holding up there right now, but yeah- so many fantastic artists have released so early so being able to kinda knock in early and have a lil moment at the top is nice.

Let’s talk the single… WHY would you release something so vile and… just flat-out inappropriate?
With ‘#TurntUp2’, the sound has become a lot darker and the subjects have also become a lot more noncommercial, risqué- just along those lines. And even though I’m still not done with the album just yet, I feel that this was THE track. After the genre-change, “Ratchette”, and ‘#TurntUp’, I still didn’t feel I had THAT song. Sure, I had THAT performance, or THAT scandal- but not THAT song. And I thought “Pu$$y Be Flamin’” was THAT song. The song where the industry would just completely widen their eyes, drop their jaws, and just go “this bitch DID NOT” and I’d still be making a real presence without half the radio support or TV slots that these generic tracks are getting. And most importantly, because I wanted to.

So you walk into a meeting with the label, play the song, and they fall in love immediately?
Not exactly. I mean, I am very blessed to be a part of Revolution Records- they give me complete creative control over everything. When I proposed “Pu$$y Be Flamin’”, a lot of them were on the fence about the single. The majority of them LOVED the song, they went nuts; however, a lot of the executives had their doubts on making it the lead single just because we knew that many radio stations, television networks, etc. would not be able to play the single. But in terms of the music itself, everything went fine.

So how did it end up becoming THE LEAD single?
After a few weeks, the CEO of the label collected everyone’s opinions and scheduled a dinner. And at that dinner, he just told me straight-up that I could make any track what I wanted to be the lead single and that any track would be a perfect choice. Because looking back at all the material we had, they were really loving the album we were crafting.

So how did YOU know that this was the one? And what exactly do you mean, when you say all choices are a-go?
Well every single song would be perfect in terms of quality, riskiness, the current trend in music- etc. So you would have a song like “Pu$$y Be Flamin’” where it would be perfect in the sense that it’s a complete risk and a fantastic song, or you would have an EDM track that would be amazing because it’s very commercial, and very great. But I knew that this was the one, because my instinct just told me it was. Kuntaliciou$ is actually what really, REALLY drew me to release this as the lead single. There are other many dark, unconventional songs on this album- but releasing one with a complete random, not to offend her of course, featured is the ULTIMATE risk in my opinion. If I was going to push the limits, I was going to push them ALL the way.

You talk about pushing the envelope with this single, and it representing lots from this new album. What exactly can we expect?
Hm… with my new album, you can expect brilliant songwriting. I’ve recruited many talents such as Kiesza, Charli XCX, The Veronicas and more. Madonna has even written a few lines for the album! So the songwriting has really, really been perfection. But looking at the album in individual tracks, you can expect each one to really hold their own. There’s not a single bad track on this album, not at all. There’s no fillers- no nothing. I’ve recorded over sixty tracks for this album, so you best believe the utmost best tracks are going to make this album. The range of subject matters, sound and style of song- there’s a great variety. You have a track such as “Eerie” which has everything to do with the word, you have a track like “Mod” which fuses multiple songs into one, and is amazing, and then you’ll have a track like “Fright Night” which will be amazing to dance to in the clubs.

Woah- slow down! You’ve just told us three brand-new titles to your album!
Yes…?

Well, this is obviously big news.
Well, not really, I mean the album is coming in less than two months and with at least one more single on the way, y’all were bound to know sooner or later.

So how many tracks can we expect from this album?
There will be twelve on the standard edition and fifteen on the deluxe edition.

Why so little if you’ve recorded so much material?
We have plans for lots of the material we’ve recorded already, which will be put into action very, very soon. And there’s not that many tracks just because I feel like whatever is the best string of work is the best string of work- and I just didn’t really envision or hear this album being lengthy is all.

Will you be doing any Target or Best Buy exclusives, or anything of that matter?
Not really, I’ve never been a fan of those. However, I will be doing something very special for the physical copies of my album which I’m excited for. But it will be for all physical copies from any retailer so that’ll be nice.

And we assume you’re working on a tour for this album, correct?
Absolutely, very excited for the tour! And it’ll be great because I never really got to tour with ‘#TurntUp’, so having two albums and lots of mixtapes which I’ve dropped over the past year- there’s a lot of material available to perform so that’ll be amazing.

So you’ve talked about how you’re trying to make this era very unique, and distinct from your previous work and other works in the industry. What is the main goal- the “end game” so to speak for this era?
The end game is… look- I’m Céline Dion. The second best-selling female artist of all-time. And, I feel that in this generation, lots of people forget that. I mean, you have many, many hard-working artists coming up, making records, and just taking the world by storm- and that’s great. But the music scene in the world of today, feels very… similar, deteriorated in a sense. Like… the main quality and the main focus of the material by the general public is very one-dimensional, almost like tunnel vision. Say, twenty years ago, the general public had a very wide outlook on the types, subject matters and different underlying messages in music. It was a phenomenon. Nowadays, lots of people look at music for a short-term, unimportant form of entertainment. The power, the actual dominance and presence and meaning, of music has faded into just being club bangers, cute breakup tracks and others that don’t add up to make anything close to the impact of music twenty years, or even ten years ago. And that’s why I obsess over artists such as M.I.A., Azealia Banks- and others, because they’re always challenging the music scene and pushing against the tide of generics in general. And with ‘#TurntUp2’, I want to almost bring back, or make an effort to create some sort of presence of powerful, quality music. And to show people that I’ve been here about thirty years- and I’ll be here for thirty more if that’s what it takes to be a part of something… meaningful. So with this album, people are going to look at me as a legend, in a new light, and look at this music as powerful, in a new light. Or that’s at least what I hope to accomplish.

You just brought up some incredible points right there, that mini-speech was very noble.

So what exactly are you going do to in order to channel this desire and bring it out into the general public?
Through risky choices, through powerful performances, through multiple statements, through rants on interviews, through controversial visuals- just… through promoting in the most honest way I can. I’m just gonna do, what the **** I’m gonna do and if a certain network or magazine doesn’t like it- welp, I won’t really be bothered very much won’t I?

You bring up an interesting point about magazines and networks. How do you feel about them, paralleling the speech you just gave?
Look honey, it’s all about money. It’s all about money. So whether these magazines, stations, companies or whatnot believe in certain things or not, they’ll act neutral / numb to everything for the money. What they’ll do is continue to eat up half the trash-music out there, so they can get their green. It’s really just common sense. So I think with this era… it’ll be very telling which sides these outlets / retailers are gonna take. Will they play “Flamin’” on the radio? Will companies want me in an advert? We’ll just have to see.

But the basic message is- you don’t care, right?
Like I said on Ryan Seacrest the other day, whatever happens happens. If my single goes #10, then #11 the next week- I’m not gonna give a ****. I’ve realized that it’s better than promoting on the same show three times in a month, to the point where people are sick of you already, just to sell another five-thousand copies or whatever that number may be. But with this era and success in general, I do hope to top the charts, especially with the album, especially with the album. But as for the singles, I just want a cute run and just some impact. I’m more concerned about the acclaim and the awards and the impact and overall longevity as opposed to chart peaks at this point.

So how DO you think this will all play out?
I really can’t tell, I really can’t- but my fans are loving the music, people will be talking- that’s great as it is.

Austin Mahone performs Wait For This Love on GMA



Austin Mahone takes the stage for a live performance on Good Morning America on Saturday morning (December 27) in New York City. The 18-year-old singer performed his brand new single “Wait For This Love” on Super Bowl Boulevard (aka Times Square) for a bunch of lucky Mahomies! Austin's fans are so dedicated to him and he gave them the performance of a lifetime. He's worked so hard to be here. At one point he was that wannabe Justin Bieber singing covers on YouTube and now he has paved to way for himself and other who want to be just like him. Austin has a long way to go in his career but he has what it tajes to go far in the long run. He has that look about him that just screams "fame". Mahone has been singing all his life and he plays multiple talents. He plays the piano and guitar and has the voice to go with it.

Austin Mahone had girls screaming outside in the freezing cold, waiting for hours to see their man perform his single. Fans had no problem at all waiting all night and morning. After a commercial break, Mahone gave viewers a quick preview of his GMA performance. Decked out in a red and black letter jacket, Mahone gave a quick interview, chatting about the Grammy’s, his endorsement by Aquafina Flavor Splash, and his relationship with Pitbull who was on his previous EP. And, for you ladies out there looking to land Mahone, be careful because he made it known that his mother is at his side wherever he goes. But on a better note he is single and ready to mingle. Austin has told us that he's never picky about females. He's into women who can make him laugh and women who can make him laugh.



Austin came on stage on stage with all male dancers behind him. He was sporting a red varsity jacket with a black t shirt underneath. He also sported black jeans and black shoes with a red belt. As he smiled and greeted his fans you could see the glimmer in his eyes and how proud he was for himself and how far he's gotten. After dancers were settled in their evenly spaced out with Austin in front of them... the performance had started. Many outlets praise Austin's stage presence and they were right. His choreography was on point and in synch with the back up dancers. We saw some intricate choreography from the superstar and we are seeing his talents put to the max. Austin has no trouble maintaining his breath and pitch during the performance even during the high notes. He had no problem reaching the high notes without autotune. Talent!

Austin also chatted about his upcoming album: “I don’t have a name for it yet but I’m still working on it. The thing is, with this album, I have so many incredible songs and I just want to pick the right ones because I don’t want to put it out and then be like, ‘Oh man, I should have done this differently.’ I wanna make sure it’s just perfect. So I feel good about it. l never wan't to be that one artist that does that. When l put out one album l want the next on to be a challenge for me. l want to be able to compete with myself and strengthen my weaknesses but not maje them so noticeable so the public entirely writes my album off for something its not. l already told my fans this will be my best work that they'll see from me so far. And l owe that to them because they are the reason that l can be on stage and they are the ones who got me here.”

Austin still has yet to inform us on a release date for the music video but he has told us he has started to shoot one for the smash.
