She was probably asked if she wanted to be part of any live performances or something. Only real reason I see for her to have info on the next single. Double Violin sounds like a fancy instrument with not many performers.

I've just watched this video and you can see that she became more nasal around 2010 and Nelly furtado type of nasal in 2012 .
Her raw vocals until 2010 but now she has more power when she is singing high but she lost her whispering/hunting low register ( like ones on i'm still breathing )
