After announcing the newest signee of Paragon Records and releasing details for her new single
"I'll Lie To Myself," Avril Lavigne is now confirmed to headline the annual event
“ Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2015 ”. Lavigne will be headlining the show with the popular band One Direction. The show will air on Wednesday,
Dec. 31 starting at 8 p.m. ET on ABC from Times Square in New York City. The show will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest along with co-hosts Jenny McCarthy.
Lavigne is ecstatic to know that she'll be headlining the show with five performances throughout the night, including her latest single "I'll Lie To Myself," Of course, the show will feature several music industry's biggest stars from across the country that's sure to blow you away with stellar performances.
Lavigne will perform live from New York City. All
the performances lead up to midnight til the ball drops in New York City’s Times Square. The show runs all night on ABC starting at 8 p.m. ET until 11 p.m. It continues with the countdown to the ball drop from 11:30 p.m. – 1:09 a.m. and concludes with a final part from 1:10 – 2:13 a.m.
"I'll Lie To Myself" will be released on iTunes and to Radio stations on December 28, 2014, The latest single marks Lavigne's newest era.
