The fact that She has stated otherwise makes that point completely mute. She wanted the lyrics on Bad Blood to be as un-personal as possible so that anyone can relate to it.
I feel like it could affect her career negatively if she risks releasing it. Probably, it may go other way too and become the biggest hit of her career. Still its a risk and she hasn't taken any risk with her singles till now
It will. Taylor is very predictable when it comes to releasing singles, and there is clearly a lot of public interest in Bad Blood. So it will see the light and smash

I hope one day she will release something completely unexpected. For this era id like to see Clean, New Romantics, or I Know Places as a single
I hate that she will probably perform SIO at the Grammys. Simply due to the fact that she struggles singing it live, but it was such a smash, it's almost a given

Neither was Fifteen. But, she didn't have any songs nominated in the general fields this year. So, she had a choice of performing Begin Again (which was nominated) or any other song for that matter. Many fans wanted her to perform All too Well at the Grammys and she probably decided to honour their request.

With her previous eras she had lot more ballads to choose from but with 1989 This love and Clean are only two choices. Out of two, Clean seems to be an obvious choice if she decides to release a ballad as a single. Highly unlikely though

Wildest Dreams is much more of a ballad than Clean tho
Lets be honest, Wildest Dreams will cause more damages than BB at this point, her artistic credibility will be hurt, I already see its MV full of comments like "Without You bought me here etc" the only bad thing about BB is that she shouldn t mention whom it is about, like a simple track about a broken friendship. But then again, the GP shows that they re team Taylent this time so it could work out

Ya but idk tbh ..Katy is very much loved by the American GP although Taylor destroyed her in the sales department and outsold her 3 to 1 the public still like Katys bubbly personality and both share a similar demographic so it could tear some of her casual fans apart into feeling like they have to choose sides. Bad Blood is going to be a BIG risk..especially because of al the media sensationalism it would get if it gets released. Katy might comment herself again and be extra passive aggressive again and then this whole taboo could outshadow the amazing body of work that is 1989 and cut it's longevity

Yea, and country music is all about the ballads. Although ballads are my favorite, I'm fine with her not releasing one this era. Plus, there's too much potential in the uptempo songs, I'd hate to see one of them left out. She has also stated that she is happy and content, so, maybe she won't release one this era.
