While there is most definitely racism/self hate involved sometimes it's not racist to prefer another race. It's racist to feel all people of one race are unattractive/dumb/just for sex etc though.

I notice most of the people complaining about it are minorities who disregard their own race and thirst for another (usually white men) then get mad when the white men they think are perfect think other white men are perfect so Idk.

And what I mean is that it's racist to not like a whole race. If you prefer one race over the other fine (it's based on racial constructs though) and that's not racist. However if you exclude an entire race because of their skin color, that is racist.

What do you mean? There are many white people who pretty much exclusively date black people because they find them MORE attractive. It just depends on the person

It's racist to not be attracted to am entire race. Just like it's dumb to think all blondes or all blue eyed people aren't attractive. Their not all going to look the same. What you're saying is you don't like the color of their skin or the features specific to that race.

Race fetishism is actually extremely insulting and not a confidence builder at all in the grand scheme of things.

My ex-boyfriend who was white had a strict latinos preference and it often left me feeling insecure about the foundations of our relationship.

I sort of agree with this. I don't think it's necessarily racist or otherwise wrong not to be attracted to people outside of your race because what you're attracted to is not really within your control, but when people explicitly and unashamedly state they're not interested in people of a certain race or races it sort of rings a bit prejudicial.
