Fearless sold 2.11 million in just 7 weeks in 2008 (Lil Wayne's The Carter III is the best-selling album that year with 2.87 million)

Speak Now sold 2.99 million in just 9 weeks in 2010 (Eminem's Recovery is the best-selling album that year with 3.42 million)

Red sold sold 3.11 million in just 10 weeks in 2012 (Adele's 21 is the best-selling album that year that year with 4.41 million)

I'm surprised that Red just barely outsold Speak Now on the same period despite of bigger opening sales and more weeks.

I need 1989 to be this year's best-selling album this year. Frozen is a weaker competition compared to Lil Wayne, Eminem and Adele. This might be her last chance to have a number one album in the yearend chart.

1989 has seriously some of the most widespread appeal I've seen in a Pop album in a long time. I'm straight (but a massive Pop music fan) and a good few of my friends have bought the album.
