It's not just that she's using a black cultural movement to line her pockets, she is erasing the black aspect of it. She's perpetuating unrealistic stereotypes and by bringing these stereotypes to the mainstream is destroying the perception of what is truly there. Iggy can use whatever voice she wants. She was mentored by TI and grew up listening to American rap. OF COURSE SHE'S GOING TO BE INSPIRED BY IT AND USE THAT VOICE! People have used voices for decades. Eminem's rap voice isn't his talking voice. Kanye's rap voice isn't his talking voice.
