The Emmy's are so worthless that the general public thinks that the Golden Jokes are more prestigious (say someone wins seven Emmy awards and was nominated for one Golden Globe - their IMDB page would only be headlined with "Nominated for One Golden Globe" and make no mention of the other.)

They enjoy a more prestigious reputation than the Globes, by far. You can hardly measure that by the great public who also still takes the Grammys seriously.

There's a reason it's EGOT and not GGOT.
To the industry, yes, not to the everyday person. And even in the industry, half of them think a Daytime Emmy Award doesn't even count as an Emmy (which is ********).
I'm rooting for Julianne to win her long-awaited Oscar, but if Jennifer Aniston wins that Lead Actress Oscar and Unbroken gets overlooked at the Oscars, I will have a field day and play Hot Potato with Jolie's Lips' toupee.
