Well, you've been told wrong. I attend a school where most of the blacks are African or West Indian, and they've told me numerous times how they feel about Black Americans. They've called them lazy, uneducated, shiftless, violent, 'rowdy' lol, and all other kinds of bs. I don't know if that's the perception of American blacks throughout the world but these non-American blacks definitely believe it and always sound like elitist racists to me.
