Milosevic ****ed up things for everyone, including Serbs. He's not seen as a hero to anyone except to uneducated farmers who were already poor and ****ed up and stupid diaspora that fuel this nationalist-driven hatred from the comfort of their nice homes in their first world countries. If you ask any NORMAL Serb what they think of Milosevic, they won't share such a favourable view of him because they know that if it weren't for him then the entire Ex-YU region would be prosperous, unlike now where everyone is poor
With that out of the way, this "economic paradise" in Kosovo you speak of could've easily been restored had you Albanians decided that you wanted to remain an autonomous province of Serbia. Instead, you cried and fought for independence which would have never happened if Americans didn't have a conflict of interest in the Kosovo region (which were Earth extracts like minerals). Now you got your independence but the price to pay for that was selling your souls to Americans. You're never going to prosper again thanks to all that privatization and Kosovo will always be a black hole of Europe. Good luck with the future!
