Madonna probably knows the media more than any other musician alive. The strategy works. It won't entirely work in terms of sales, but it definitely works in terms of publicity. Exposure is the only thing Madonna cares about at this stage. Because of this 6-song "surprise release," people know she actually has an album coming out, whereas no one did before. She has "BEYONCÉ"-equivalent exposure right now without actually having released an entire album. The strategy pays off. Next up... controversial? (but not age-restricted) music video. And another "#myn****" Instagram post.
"Rebel Heart" is going to be an entertaining era. Get ready.

Gaga learned from ARTPOP hence why she's in the studio with Nile Rogers (a hit making legend who she can't control / force to create crap she likes). Ex-stans aren't allowed opinions, sorry.   |

 | The amount of money that clown who thinks she's a master of the "sociology of fame" must have lost her label . Jeff Koons, Marina Abracadabra, multi-million dollar release party, DWUW video w/ expensive director that never saw the light of day, expensive GUY video for a single that sold under 50k    |

...Vin | I don't know, the leak of the demos seemed to have more impact than putting the songs on iTunes. I don't think I saw even one tweet about it on my timeline. Her timing was totally off. Pepcé her team was much more intelligent, releasing the album right when Scandal ended.

I definitely expect a lot of body hair, genitalia, racism and bestiality from Madonna the coming months.

I saw someone in this very thread post about how they thought pale and firecrotch'd rat Julianne Moore was a box office draw for the Hunger Games
I don't even need to type it out how wrong that is    |
