I'm actually quite curious as to what she says there! Considering she's done the top 40 and the underground route(and has fans from both), it'll be interesting to see what she has to say about it.

Not to give away too much but when PF was created she had NO IDEA what top 40 even was but that's all imma say :X I want y'all to get the full experience of the interview its amazing and so much spilled about her personal life

1. the album is kinda expensive
2. lbr, Nicki has it harder than these pop girls and a lot of her male contemporaries. Racism and sexism run rampant in this world, Nicki is a victim to all of it
3. it's much harder to push albums today than it was just even 4 years ago when PF came out, Nicki's numbers are reflective of that and for being a black, female, sexually free (& explicit) artist and to me they're just fine

Not to mention Nicki has poised herself to achieve longevity with this album, hell it had already lasted pretty steadily for the 5-6ish months leading up to the release. It sucks to see people writing her off so easily just based on their dumbass preconceived perceptions of her when she just delivered the most cohesive body of work from her discography yet

I absolutely loved the album. Because i was banned i coudn't share my support for the barbz. IM HERE FOR YOU GUYS & I will ride with you guys threw out this whole era. The album was great & i only skip 1 song. Hopefully her singles to her justice. since thats what she seems to care the most.

It really is a shame. One sales prediction and everyone retracts their statements of enjoying TPP. Having cross-over appeal has really become a double-edged sword for her. Pop fans are now open to a new genre they wouldn't have tried before, but rap fans wont give her a chance because of the single choices in the past (and present).

Someone compared it to how Bey stuck with and supported 4 even when people were dragging its sales (in comparison to the other 2011 releases), because it was an important album and time for her, and no matter what, this album is important to Nicki and she'll continue to push with it and support it because you can tell it's a moment that really reflects how hectic her personal life is.
