Because it's like she's only famous for being famous. She doesn't feel like a musician at all nowadays.

"Radio you're talking about . . ." he pauses. "Treating the radio guys nice."
'Treating the radio guys nice' is a very fuzzy cost. It can mean taking the program directors of major market stations to nice dinners. It can mean flying your artist in to do a free show at a station in order to generate more spots on a radio playlist.
Former program director Paul Porter, who co-founded the media watchdog group Industry Ears, says it's not that record labels pay outright for a song. They pay to establish relationships so that when they are pushing a record, they will come first.
But Def Jam makes up the shortfall by releasing other singles. And only then— if the label recoups what it spent on the album — will Rihanna herself get paid.
Why o why did they use Rihanna Def Scam as a prime example? Maybe they know something. Thats why her singles sales are lacking when compared to Katy Perry despite have high airplay.

What is this point you speak of? All you do is quote the Hive and write them off as delusional or disagree with their points. And the obsessive Beyonce haters who have over 20 posts on this thread, all you do is agree. Lawd, you are so biased it's sad. It's like talking to a wall!

I see nothing about her label paying for plays on radio stations though
Her singles sales are lacking?
The Epic expose was more than just a fable by some person and more of an actual investigation where the record was exposed and had to give money off to a not-for profit org.
