thank you!! i'm trying to get over it I did apply to two of the hardest programs to get into (AEM/ILR- primary/secondary) so I guess I understand but I was really hoping for deferral into guaranteed transfer at the worst, now I'll probably never go to Cornell

just wish I hadn't "wasted" my ED application on Cornell when I could've done ED or EDII for Emory to guarantee my spot, now idk if I'll get in as a regular decision app.

hoping to get into Emory, U-Mich, UNC (out of state ), and Boston College.

What are you guys doing outside of academics? Like clubs and activities wise? I want to do something that isn't a leadership position and still be marketable for job apps and law school.

I don't do much. It's so bothersome. I'm in a student government committee, but it takes up an hour on sundays once in a while. I also go to my school's LGBT and African American club meetings. However, I'm thinking of joining my school's dance organization. I haven't done organized dance in a while and I want to start again. Also the physically benefits will be nice. I need to get back my toned thighs and a stronger upper body.

Deferrals aren't the end of the world. Same with waitlists. I know many people who got in via deferrals and waitlists. Keep going strong.

But for real I'm actually not doing anything. I just can't seem to muster up the motivation to get up off my ass and do anything besides class. Try maybe joining like an academic or service fraternity. Those are usually fun and beneficial as well. I know so many people who chose to do something along those lines.

And ohmygod, y'all are so smart. Idk how some of y'all manage to do three majors+. My school only allows at max 2 majors and a minor, and it honestly seems like probably the most I could realistically handle.

I'm currently majoring in Commerce - HR (Organizational Consulting) but I kinda want to do a second major. Is it wise to consider a second major when I'm already in my second year?

I'm thinking a liberal arts second major... maybe Sociology?
