Also true. The best way to guarantee airplay is to have a hit in the markets the track is released first. Deejays have to look at requests, previous airplay, sales, etc. before spinning songs. It's easier to cross countries if your song is a hit where it was released first.
I do, too, though I don't think it's that big a deal. People will get kiis for a day or so, which doesn't make sense from a U.S. point-of-view, and then forget about it. It's not like it's some career-long partnership.
