What you all don't see is that the difference between THIS era and last era is that Nicki is more liked this era.
She was HATED last era so putting out 8/9 songs wouldn't do much as she was putting her left foot in pop and the right in rap when people want you to choose.
She is more LIKED yet still loathed a bit but when she puts out 4 more singles...maybe 5 the reception will be better therefore the longevity will be better.
It for sure will go gold...now platinum on the other hand...1M sales...we'll see. As long as she gets that platinum plaque it's all good

Well what shes doing is being passive which is her norm and she's tweeting/retweeting about the target issues so that the sales will seem off because of that.
Meanwhile I know one person that got their target copy Monday and I got mine yesterday with only a few purchased and it was 11ish.
Plus we all know that it's just as easy to go through itunes and some can go to Best buy.
While I expect a boost from promo this week, I think she knows a rant will make her look petty so she's just retweeting people saying they were not stocked on Monday or are sold out.
Same thing with the re up era (even pointing it out on the breakfast club)
Stocking issues are always a problem as labels don't want to ship too many but we have other options like itunes and streaming so...

People keep on saying that because she said that herself but did she have a big promotional campaign for target this go round. It just was a place where many of her albums for her first album not her second album was purchased. It's not as though people can't go to Itunes, walmart, best buy etc as options. For a target only release I see the point though.

He's always promoted TPP. If you followed him on instagram you'd be aware that even when they broke up he did evne the summer when things started getting murky he would still give her props for her lyricism while in the studio with her late nights.
