I don't mean for this to sound shallow or whatever but I really hope she can eventually get back to her 2012 body. I want her to be healthy and look her best. I hate when people ridicule her for her body....it was incredibly frustrating during the AIEW era when all people would talk about was her weight.
It also helps her voice when she keeps her body in shape. I don't think its a coincidence that her voice started sounding even better starting early 2012 when she started exercising more.

But she wasn't exactly skinny during Stronger? So I don't think it really matters.
Just look at her AMA performance, in that tight red dress. She didn't get skinny until around the time Dark Side flopped + Duets came about. DS ha power.

I do think it's a factor tho. The reason why is that, Kelly is the image of a product when she is technically a product as well. Kelly her image during AIEW was a huge distraction. People talked about her weight more instead of the music she was promoting. Which wasn't the case with Stronger. Yes she wasn't skinny but she did look more attractive and was for a fact in better shape. There were a lot of performances were people focused a lot less on her weight.
Yes her image was good during MLWSWY but the era went downhill before the drama started. One of those scandals was with SELF magazine. You can say what you want but there is no denying that her weight had a effect on the era as well.
