No one else uses all of the above?
Question remains why she managed to do better than everyone else who have the same things, worked with the same writers and producers and allegedly are more talented than her?

I would love for you to point out where I implied that. All I said was that the above qualities made her successful. Lots of people use that, but not everyone is successful, you're right about that. But in the case of Rihanna, she had a slow build so that once she made it, keeping up with making pop music that follow the musical climate, being sexy, having good marketing ensures her success.
The only other element missing from the above is her liveability, and just being someone that people are interested in.

THANK YOU! I keep telling lonnie reading is fundamental

she's authentic and one of a kind like Britney Spears or Diana Ross.
Others are just a copy of a copy

Right?
One could say they wouldn't waste a minute of their, apparently not busy at all, lives on someone who they consider so inferior compared to their "G0d!1!". Quite interesting to see that "inferior" girl bothers them enough to hate on her.
Rihanna and her success' POWAH!

Rihanna started out with dancehall and Caribbean inspired music, went pop still retaining her island roots with her second album, went pop with her third, her fourth album had pop, urban, flamenco, dubstep and Caribbean influences, her fifth album had pop with urban and reggae influences, sixth had pop, urban influences, seventh was mostly urban with some pop songs and a reggae track.

BUT DID I SAY NO OTHER STAR SOLD SEX??? She blatantly does it.Thats a huge component of her personsa and one of the reasons she's so popular. And there is a difference from just oozing sex appeal and selling sex.

Rihanna is the pretty face which fronts a VERY clever and talented promotion/production/media team.
They realized she was a marketable product and assembled a very good team to keep her afloat. Everything from promotion, styling, production/songwriting, media presence. Rihanna is only surrounded by the experts in those fields.
When you spend that much money on someone and their team, you expect it to work, which it does. For now.

This rhetoric is nothing more than fantasy. At least from my perspective, I am here because I enjoy Rihanna and thus enjoy discussing her, much as I enjoy most pop music discussions. Also when people are crazy in a thread it makes it more entertaining and thus it draws more people and more people continuing to post.
And I don't see the correlation between disliking someone, if that is the case for some people, and having enough time to talk about them, not nor I see why Hive talking about why Rihanna is successful is an indicator of them being threatened. This is just a discussion. Don't make it into a stan war with this.

I have yet to be blown away by a Rihanna performance or song, and until that day, she's just another radio girl.

Rihanna is more than just a radio girl
She is the biggest pop stars, fashion icon, etcWW. Her impact is beyond music at this point.
She has most definitely proven herself, many many people in the industry respect her. And that is what counts.
Today she is one of the most respected female artist only behind bey(and i'm not afraid to say that).

She's so successful cause theres literally no one else like her. Her work ethic is BEYOND amazing. Her voice is unique and she sings amazing songs. Also she's relatable & her beautiful looks also factor.

Rihanna never even went fully sexual till Rated R and prior to that she was still successful.
I swear I can't even keep up with the forthcoming excuses, you agree she's not the only one who sells sex so it's not what made her successful then, no?

So, the debate is over. Nice effort, maybe next time. Don't ever stop trying.

Every one of our faves have a team. Rihanna def has the smallest team.
When you look at poeple like Beyonce who have a massive marketing team from L'Oreal, Pepsi and all her other endorsement people.
Gaga with Haus of Gaga etc.
Rihanna is prob the most simplest/raw pop girl. I don't even think she has a publicist.

Might be because it's always the same bitter Beyhive members perched in Rihanna's threads making only negative posts and trying to belittle Rih the LORD. The fact that this thread has more (obsessed) hives than any other fanbase (sans the Navy) is proof enough. Are you really gonna act like the Beyhive doesn't hate on Rihanna? LMAO.
The fact that you took the bait with quickness says it all.

And if she hasn't gone fully sexual, she probably moderately successful today. And like I've said before, she puts sex unapologetically in your face when other pop girls are abit more subliminal. That's what make her notorious among other factors. And stop acting like I'm making excuses, when you damn well know that it's closer to the truth than anything.
