Into The Woods is going to have better reviews than Les Miserables. I loved Les Miserables but I really wonder how that movie had so much hype and buzz around it. Was it because of Hathaway?

It was her desperate campaigning that turned people off.

I thought it wasn't her campaigning but her speeches? People didn't like that she knew she was winning lol.
Doesn't change the fact that "I Dreamed A Dream" is still the best acting moment from anyone in 2012.

I guess the "live singing" narrative helped too. In reality, it only really helped Hathaway and Redmayne. Jackman was wonderful but he would've won an Oscar if he was Javert. And the less said about Russell Crowe, the better. Almost as bad as Daniel Day-Lewis in Nine.

But how will they vote split if they're in two different categories?

Idk how these things work but they will say " We voted for her once let's not vote for her again".

That wouldn't necessarily mean splitting the votes, though. And chances are, they'll go for Still Alice over Maps of the Stars anyway.

Poor JL!
Meryl Streep continues to break her own records at many awards events, and the Golden Globes are no exception. On Thursday mornning, she received her 29th Globe nomination, the most of any man or woman in all film and television categories combined.
