Her visuals and beats from last era (especially the RedOne songs) were pretty much Lady Gaga rehashes. When you're a clone of a Madonna clone (who's over), your career is in shambles.
Rihanna has the best ear for beats from the girls.
That's if she really does choose her songs.
She usually shies away from doing corny pop songs. That might change with the Home soundtrack though.
Inspirational kiddie fodder seems like it'll be a hard sell coming from her...

Nicki doesn't know what she's doing. Her era is all over the place. She tried to be serious, nobody cared. She tried to be shocking, people cared to the extent of 1.2m downloads. Everything after that is a non-factor.
