Xtina performed at some DGA (Democratic Governors Association) private event last night. She performed SS instead of Beautiful, and it looks like she sang it with that Colin guy from her festival concerts.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this... The lyrics and production are really great, but X's oversinging kind of ruins it for me. She could've held back on some of the wailing in the last chorus and it still would have been the vocally impressive song she wanted it to be.

As far as the rest of the Lotus ballads go...
- Empty Words is forgettable
- Blank Page is very pretty and a worthwhile addition to the album
- Best Of Me is probably my favorite. When the album first came out, one of my friends and I both commented on how Stripped-like the bridge is. Beautiful and very empowering lyrically.
