Also, I'm pretty sure the majority that say things like this about Nick J, Taylor Lautner, Zayn, Harry Styles, Zac Efron, etc. are just joking. Everyone knows they're not gay (or not ready to come out), but it's all in good fun. Plus, you can't really blame people when a lot of these celebs intentionally create hype around their sexuality. I love Nick but I'm not gonna sit around and pretend that it's not infinitely clear that he purposefully targets the gay community for attention and promo and loves it. Same goes for people like Zac and pretty much every member of a modern day boy band (1D built their careers on acting gay for the cameras).
It also doesn't help the "straights are either closeted or homophobic" stereotype when you have people like Liam, Louis, Michael Hoffman, etc. parading around doing homoerotic things for attention and then turning around and acting offended that anyone might even suggest that they like men.
Like, you do suspect things and then get mad that people might speculate about it? makenosense.
At the end of the day, none of us will ever have a chance with one of these guys anyway, regardless of their real sexuality. So why not let us have our fun?
