This has VERY little to do with the person she's calling those homophobic slurs and more so the context in which she's setting the meaning of the word to her personally.

She's only problematic cause she speaks her mind like every other human being, it's just magnified with her popularity. Just because you can't navigate the world when some of her stature states her opinion doesn't mean everybody else can't. And she didn't lie. The world is watching American racism right now. Actually she DID lie. Gay men are not always gonna be "******s". No matter what state of the world (or I should say just america) is in is it justified to just start calling people ******s.
