Ummm Did any of you actually watch the performance.
Her ear piece wasnt working at all. And that can make the world of a difference. and You can hear her trying to slay but she really couldnt hear herself. I sing and i know how it feels to sing without being able to hear if you in the right key but then listening to yourself and actually hearing whats coming out of your mouth :x. I'm not saying it sounded perfect but it didnt sound as terrible as some of you are making it
You've been the one being the most critical of her throughout this thread.
Her voice broke ,but the thing is , Mimi's chest voice was clear for most of the performance dear. She wasn't raspy or hoarse. Her falsetto/head voice was working. That's really it.
The Christmas in Washington performance last year was MUCH WORST
Yes it was a struggle. But she sounded pretty good at most parts. I'm just pleased that she got through it and had the CONFIDENCE to sing it 100% live.
She did ok. It wasn't nearly as disastrous as when she performed it last year IMO.
