Carrie Underwood's "Something in the Water" makes an 11-9 splash to become her 20th top 10 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. Counting songs promoted to country radio (and excluding holiday fare), Underwood extends her record for the most top 10s by a woman from a career's start.

In other words, since arriving with the six-week No. 1 "Jesus, Take the Wheel" (2005-06), she's yet to miss the top 10 with any single promoted specifically to country radio. (Prior to "Wheel," she dented the chart with the No. 50-peaking "Bless the Broken Road" and the No. 52 hit "Inside Your Heaven," her American Idol coronation song that topped the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to hefty sales.)

Underwood is about to release her greatest hits album but is already working on new material.

"I feel like I'll be able to continue somewhat and hopefully get back in the studio and finish everything up next summer."

Yup. She did some radio interviews today with some AUS stations and said she is continuing to write while pregnant for the next album

That's good! I figure she probably has most of an album ready anyways. She was ready to push it out before she got pregnant. I'll hope for a Q3/Q4 album release next year
