Samantha Mumba returned for her second era in 2002, as almost all young female pop stars inevitably do, with a new, sexier image—in this case, decked out in a sleek, revealing fireman outfit, for maximum fantasy effect. Fortunately, she had the musical goods to back it up, rocking this smooth, R&B-tinged ladies' anthem about searching for Mr. Right. Unfortunately, the song, produced by Bloodshy & Avant, was a global flop and Samantha's album was shelved. Though she transitioned to a film career in her native Ireland and made occasional UK television appearances, American audiences were never blessed to hear from her again.
Best bit: The creatively-paced lyricism of the first verse is a fantastic hook.
The music video... tries to convince us that (post-J Lo!) Cris Judd is a dream man.
Sleek and mature and beautifully produced. Any of the gals that actually specialized in the R&B thing would have loved to have had this. Might have been a cool follow up for Miss Blu once her need for stylish vengeance was satisfied, no?

Another FUN FACT: Kandi Burruss is lead writer on the track.
Fun fact: Samantha Mumba has three shelved albums. Rumour has it the second one (the first attempt at it) was primarly shelved because her label was dying to cut ties with her because of her bad attitude and supposed cocaine addiction.

Are you being for real? I can't find anything legit about that.
