Jealous. That's so early. Mine don't come out until December 15th. I was pretty convinced that I passed everything (and now have a degree) but now I keep freaking out and telling myself that I failed my last exam, and probably failed that subject, and now have to repeat it.

I definitely did fail my last exam, but I only needed to get 14/80 for it, and I'm pretty sure I got at least that.

Does anyone else find the Phillip Hughes tributes quite bizarre and over the top? His death was indeed a tragedy but the attention it's getting is quite excessive. Before the accident, half the people crying and putting out their cricket bats would have never even known who he was. Celebrities and even the Queen have passed on their condolences to the family. I find it rather bizarre. If he had died under normal circumstances, the gp wouldn't have cared.

ya I would imagine you got more than 14 easily. you're lucky your uni doesn't have any crazy assessment/examination rules. some of them have a minimum grade (like 45% or w/e) you have to achieve for every assessment or you fail the whole unit irrespective of past/future performance that semester, even if it's not on the exam)

but if you did fail do you reckon you can just enrol in the unit in summer semester and smash it out?

I've been scared of coming across as an insensitive arsehole so I haven't expressed that this is how I also feel to anyone. I had no idea who he was. Barely anyone did. It's so over the top. I agree that it's tragic, but he's still front page news and leading news bulletins like a week and a half later.

I've been blasting Wynter Gordon's With The Music I Die repeatedly for the last week or so.

I'm proud Dirty Talk topped the charts here, yet bitter it barely impacted anywhere else. Not to mention Til Death and Buy My Love flopping

I'm so pissed that the Kingdom Hearts 2 HD Remix Collectors Edition (that comes with KH1.5HDR bundled as well) isn't being released in Australia. Instead we get a crappy limited edition that comes with a f****ing pin. Like BYE

It's 70 bucks at EB Games too which is a travesty. The first HD remix was what, 50 bucks?

Brick and mortar retailers can get ****ED, i aint been into EB in years, I try and get things digitally and usually you can do it much cheaper than buying from this antique game stores here in aus

I almost never buy recently released games at nearby gaming retailers anymore now because of those atrocious prices.

Ozgameshop all the way. And their shipping has improved a lot, so now I get my games in a fortnight at most, rather than the previous month-long waiting period.

It's awesome. I made an old, wrinkly female elf mage called Bob the builder at a friend's place and butchered her already hideous face by applying neon makeup.

I love the tactics feature, where time freezes so you can direct your allies where to go/whom to attack. And the actual realtime combat reminds me of Bladestorm (hold the shoulder button to automatically attack). It's cool.

Though since I never played DA:O or DA:2 I had no idea wtf was going on.
