I'm really curious about her direction too, it's so hard to tell with her.

This is what she said for BEYONCE in February 2013 during her GQ interview, obviously a lot of it had changed by the album release.

On the album's influences: "Mostly R&B. I always have my Prince and rock/soul influences. There's a bit of D'Angelo, some '60s doo-wop. And Aretha and Diana Ross."

I don't really see her pop comeback in the near future though lol

On her collaborators: "I've been working with Pharrell and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and Dream. We all started in the '90s, when R&B was the most important genre, and we all kind of want that back: the feeling that music gave us."

I'm fed up. GRAMMY needs to come and this era needs to go. too much potential wasted and lack of promo have overwhelmed the Beyhive in their feelings. she needs to make up with B6 and give us the uptempos, promo, and great clothes. I'm not asking B'Day II (which she'll never do I guess) but at least 6 fire uptempos on the album whatever genre it is. I'm not thristy for "movie Beyoncé" she is alright with the music. a movie would be cute during a long break after B6.

I remember the days I would have my DVR full because she used to do promo all the time.
She made her point but this whole quick lived album **** aint gonna cut it every era.


I really hope OTR gets a DVD release .. it need to be in my Bey concert collection.

She really had the potential to create another dance craze with this album, if she wanted to. I mean look at how big "I woke up like dis" became. Bey could've popped some iconic choreo into one of those videos and had the girls doing it for years and years. And someone tell her team to stop ****in' up her single releases + tell Bey to promote her music. The fact that DIL will go down as the biggest hit from the era is a shame. #Justice4Partition
