I'm so THIRSTY for Rebel Heart & Wash All Over Me - now everything is deleted by Maverick and I have been working all week including Saturday and it all leaked at night, me always ending up at a comp without speakers at work OMG

I'm glad that Madonna is finally back, so unreal after HC & MDNA

I don't even dislike WOAM it just sounds too muddy and convoluted but I guess that should be taken care of come release time.

But yeah, the only Madonna songs I've ever liked are:

Frozen, Sorry (kinda), Hung up, 4 minutes and GMAYL.

Rebel Heart is already my 2nd favorite Madonna song ever, only behind the timeless Frozen!

But, I'm starting to like RH , especially the "Deep Down My Rebel Heart" line .
I'm sure that in a few days , I'm gonna love it !

WAOM still hasn't clicked with me at all tho .Probably never will. I fail to see anything special in this song .....

I've never really bothered to listen to her music for one reason only. I can't listen to old songs, with very few exceptions. Like I tried listening to Express Yourself back in 2011 but I couldn't even finish it. It's my problem though and I know it's not really common. My boyfriend for example loves Madonna pre-Hard Candy while I can't because of the dated, muddled sound.

That's why I never bothered because her newer stuff (Hard Candy and MDNA) featured the very robotic, high pitched vocals which I hate. Though I have to say I've only listened to the singles.

GMAYL is a guilty pleasure of mine. I can't take it seriously, but it's very catchy and I love Nicki's verse.

Rebel Heart is an earworm, the 6 syllable words in it even start to sound smooth after 5 listens.

I see where you're coming from and I know many others like you, they simply can't listen nor get into old songs .

Try remixes for the older tracks? God knows she has plenty out there.

HC is not that bad of an album really (though it is her worst), and MDNA is actually mediocre to good. Love Spent is amazing

Ever tried Ray of Light, Music and American Life? All three still sound fresh (other than Music in some places) and they don't have that 'old sound' you refer to.

I like Love Spent and I could see myself bopping to Gaga Bang in a club, not at home though. It feels like one of those songs that are only done justice at full volume and bass. I'm Addicted I didn't really like.

@ELECTRA I'm not really into remixes to any artist. I'll try finding some remasters though if there are any out there! I'll try those albums too!
