And lastly, she has faded away. Very, very much so. Her most recent effort sold a bit more than 1/5th of her previous album, it never generated any songs as big in the "indie" scene as Summertime Sadness and Video Games, the streaming numbers for it are abysmal, and she gave the project such little interest that it basically killed itself before she had a chance to do that. A 70-something score on Metacritic isn't gonna change the extent to which she has fallen, and only on her 2nd album nonetheless. Gaga at least had 2.5 massively successful albums before her downfall became a parody.
Now go on and tell me about how Lana is more noteworthy than any of the other discussed pop stars on this site who actually made names for themselves.

FORBES already stated before, lana could've been doing bigger venues if she wanted to, but shes not money hungry so...
and actually, her coachella performance was acclaimed, by

uv underperformed (compared to btds standards) but it still is this years second best selling female album, dont u get it? and the fact she accomplished this with NO PROMO, NO HITS and with AN INACESSIBLE blues-rock album is quite amazing, because, to measure an ''underperformance'' u have to take into account the amount of effort the artist actually put into the material, and since lana did nothing to promote her music and yet it managed to sell 1,1m only by the word of mouth and her name alone, is quite impressive, i'd say
lana is also one of the most influential popstars out there, she has influenced taylor, lorde, shania, coldplay, french montana, mulberry and a lot of other acts, hence shes the standard for female alternative pop acts
the rap community hates iggy and ariana is the least successful ~~disney girl~~ so yeah, i dont know why ure comparing them, lana is by far the standout here
