Ever since Only & Bed Of Lies my excitement went down. I hate it when albums have 3 or more singles before the album release. 2 singles is perfect but 3 is too much. And when BOL came, it just got worse. I love BOL but the overall era is kinda bad IMO. She should've released the album in September while she had Anaconda hype and not wait until mid December.
But of course that's just my opinion and I really don't wanna discuss it.

I honestly feel like the approach that Rihanna allegedly is gearing up to do, the approach Beyonce did, the approach Jay Z did with releasing the album 1 month prior and having 1M sold via company are great strategies that I wouldn't have mind the PinkPrint taking from.


Back in the day they would release the song 4-6 weeks before the album and then the life of the album would go continue forward with 5-6 more singles. That would have been amazing for Nicki to use for TPP back in June with a PNP may release, the concerts and then the album the week of the BET awards.
Oh well.
I've never been fond of 4 or 5 songs released pre-album...BUT I'd be ok with it if
1) PNP
2) Anaconda
3) Only
4) Bed of slay (the central part of the era)
5) spring single
6) summer single
7) fall closer

That would suffice for me

I mean... PF and RR both had 4 songs released before the album. We should be used to this by now.

This Era is literally perfect. She's releasing great songs. They don't feel big to where the point where she's oversaturating us. Her looks are perfect. Her lack of social media presence is nice too after all those rants from 2012-2013. Her promo is on point so far. We're about to get about 20 songs, and all these exclusives.

But all I see is complaining about when a preorder for an album dropping in 3 weeks is coming. If you don't like the music, then kindly leave. You're taking the fun out of this Era for the rest of us.

But it's understandable for fans to overreact. I was so surprised to see all the Bey stans complain about the BEYONCE Era. To us, it seems like Bey can do no wrong, and can only dream of Nicki having that power.

Rihanna fans are tripping out about R8, and so on. We'll get over it the minute Nicki gives us more details.

The pre album singles are the music. I just don't like hearing so many songs before the album comes out.

I'm not big on sales or everything like that but my expectations for the debut week sales for this album got low.

BUT when the album drop she better have quality music, if the sells aren't that good
