Lbr, if DWUW was gonna smash, it would've. Video or not, ala Dark Horse. It never even cracked the top 10 on iTunes (except on release). even after SNL, AMAs, and the voice, it would always stall in the top 15

Pretty much. The anti-Gaga hate was starting to grow at that point and if she had released that rape themed music video for DWUW... her career would be in the toilet. Good thing she decided to just not release it and fly under the radar for a bit until G.U.Y. and the artRave.
