Some other recent tidbits from Timothy_b:
I don't have any info on the quality of the newly recorded material, but there are quite a few gems from the BJ era that didn't make the cut after Will.I.Am took over and him and the label went for a different approach. 1 song produced by Danja and 2 by Darkchild, which do deserve the stamp "Blackout 2.0". I know that A&R for this new project is nearly completed and that no Executive Producer has been assigned, which either means that it's going to be Britney herself or her A&R team at RCA.
If we really get what Britney wants, then it's a mixture of Blackout and BJ. And with BJ I mean the sound of "Don't Cry", "Hold on Tight" and "Perfume".
She has a bunch of demos, but they already decided which are for keeps and which not.
(The songs cut from BJ were) Not just great. Amazing! Very different from the sound that ended up on BJ, but absolute bangers!
A single will be dropped first, definitely! But there are plans to realease the album out of the blue!
(William Orbit) submitted new demos.

Title: Strobe
1. Icon (ft. Iggy Azelea) [Produced by: Max Martin & Benny Blanco]
2. Overexposed (ft. Rihanna) [Produced by: David Guetta & Giorgio Tuinfort]
3. Primetime [Produced by: Danja & Sean Garrett]
4. Off We Go (ft. Brooke Candy) [Produced by: Hit-Boy & Danja]
5. Top Of The World [Produced by: William Orbit & Kara Dioguardi]
6. Fugitive (ft. Nicki Minaj) [Produced by: Dr. Luke & Danja]
7. Destruction/Wrong State Of Mind [Produced by: Terius Nash, Darkchild & Britney Spears]
8. Sleep Walker [Produced by: Max Martin, Benny Blanco, & Dr. Luke]
9. Kings & Queens (ft. Wiz Khalifa) [Produced by: Danja & Pharell]
10. Be Careful (What You Wish For) [Produced by: Guy Chamber & Madonna]
11. Life Goes On [Produced by: William Orbit]
Bonus: Til Death To Us Apart (ft. Eminem) [Produced by: Hit-Boy, Darkchild]
*She writes on every song except Sleep Walker, Overexposed & Icon.*
I went with the idea she's been having with her since Circus/Femme Fatale, but incorporated some Pop songs into it. The lyrics of every song has an ironic meaning to them, meaning it all relates to her. I ran with her artsy fartsy idea was urban mixed with Pop like Blackout, In The Zone and some of Britney. From past experiences, Britney (+ her team) have said that Femme Fatale would be her best album ( which is one of the best) and Britney Jean was personal (some are, but I mean Tik Tik Boom and Work Bitch? )
Singles:
01. Overexposed (ft. Rihanna) | #1
02. Fugitive (ft. Nicki Minaj) | #12
03. Sleep Walker | #3
04. Life Goes On | #19
|
It's one of her worst.
Her best albums are Oops!...I Did It Again, In the Zone and Britney. Blackout is there as well, though, there's no room for Femme Fatale.

I don't want any William Orbit tracks on the next album. Alien is one of the worst Britney songs ever imo. I kinda like the instrumentals and lyrics but the production & vocals definitely ruin the song, I literally can't stand listening to it.

I'd be more than happy if Danja and Darkchild are involved. I've been wanting them both to work with Britney after Femme Fatale was released. He About to Lose Me is a gem.

Song isn't bad, vocals are bad.

Also, Hey Britney confirmed the song was titled "Thankfully" after seeing Timothy_b's post but Speakerphone says: Title's not confirmed yet, with good reason - the word 'thankfully' doesn't appear in the song though.
On Myah Marie's vocals:
Definitely no Miah.

I always thought it would be a great song if Rihanna sang it. Britney better focus on improving her vocal skills this time. I need Everytime 2.0.

She doesn't sound that bad on the demo, though. She gotta keep working on her vocals, but, how did she manage to sound that great on Perfume?

Well yeah, the demo version is definitely better. I feel like Britney never cared about BJ so she didn't put any effort to sound good. Hold On Tight and Perfume are the only exceptions I guess.

I believe she did care at some point, but when ****.i.am got involved and turned the whole concept into a mess, she got away and let them do what they wanted with Britney Jean. Same thing happened to Femme Fatale, even though I like that more than her latest effort, but she said it was going to be something different and more urban and she ended up releasing a bunch of generic songs produced by Dr. Luke.

She can release the best album of the decade BUT if she doesnt promote it it will flop hard.
