BTW wasn't really a mess though. Towards the end of the tour she became a bit messy but overall the performances during mid-2011 especially are some of her absolute best. BTW at the Grammys was perfection to open the era too.

To be honest, I'd rather the next open the same or maybe a little better than ARTPOP but go for longevity over 4 or 5 months. If she can deliver a great single that gets people really into her image again it'd do wonders. A constant image would certainly help, though.

Born this way a mess though. I guess Born this way was an ok 1st single but then Judas for the sake of controversy on holy week. Then the edge of glory video mess that prevented it from hitting number 1. The recycled video concept of edge of glory in You and I. Then Marry the night video being so long and messy and no one bothered to watch it. MTN being the last single when there was songs like Hair, Scheiße and Heavy metal lover waiting to smash. It was very much a mess.
