Omg, I recorded the Unbreak My Heart music video on my VCR as a child and played it OUT! Such a great torch song (plus maybe I watched the video for other reasons too

Your list reminds me of the fact that there are so few great torch songs these days. They're less likely to be hits nowadays and most albums only have 1 or 2 ballads. I guess the Torch Era has passed
