If one successful tour makes one a "touring force", then one under-performing tour doesn't take away one's "touring force" status. ATRL can't flip-flop and be hypocritical about "touring force" statuses.

I'd personally say you need to have more than one successful tour to be a touring force, just like you need more than one successful to be an album seller. But hey, that's just me.

That's not what a FORCE is bang up. A FORCE is not about the gross.

A FORCE is about a continious incline and momentum and that's what Katy has. Every tour has grossed more than the previous one. That's what a FORCE is. It's moved forward.

If an artist has only ever known a decline. If an artist's numbers have descreaed with every tour, they didn't have FORCE to take away in the first place.

A force is continuous success, not improving upon your success over and over again, though that obviously only adds to your "force" status. When an artist grosses hundreds of millions of dollars with one tour, it's not easy to repeat that success and not doing so does not invalidate their ability to tour and bring in big numbers.

Simply put so you can understand: When your first tour grosses $60m, you're going to improve. When your first tour grosses several hundred million, you're going to decline.

By your own definition, Madonna is not a touring force because the MDNA Tour grossed $100m less than the tour before it. Though I'm sure you have an explanation for that.
