Lets be realistic here. If an ISP bans internet access from a customer, that is lost money for that ISP. If 95% of downloads are truly illegal like you say, then there will be no one left on the internet and the ISP's will go out of business. I can't imagine it being a smart business move. So I take this idea as a joke.

First of all this is only being done in the Uk and France, its like a tiral run. And they dont AUTOMATICALLY just shut it down, what they do is give you a warning [im guessing atleast 2] and if you dont stop illegally downloading music then they will shut it down from anywhere up to a year. And after this has been going on and this happens to more and more people then they people will learn not to do it unless they are idiots. Im not saying this new law will work or is flawless .. but if people are smart this can fix the music industry and without reazling it help the world wide economy if this new law spreads to the US and other places.
