I wonder what MJ has to do with these pictures... we're not talking about legacy, music or plastic surgery. It's not a competition.
The point here is the utterly photoshopped pictures, by Madonna or any other celebrity. No matter how old they are, it's just absurd. It's even forbidden in some countries.
However, it's quite annoying how Madonna stans for female power, the 'express yourself' thing or 'be a real woman', when she perpectuates the 'perfect body/eternal ageless imagery' by using photo effects like that.
Madonna looks absolutely fine without photoshop on the red carpet and on stage when she wears the same amount of makeup. She looks amazing in footage filmed by FANS and pictures made by FANS, not photoshopped at all.
Obviously the first pic (if real and not photoshopped to make it look even worse) is a cause of bad lighting, otherwise the other pics of M wouldn't look as amazing. Just a bit of common sense.
Her body looks amazing.
Also kind of ironic how people make fun of madonna for these bad pics at the age of 56 while with other popstars who are 30 years younger and use tape and botox get a free pass. Once again.. ageism.

But is it even a competition? I mean, Madonna didn't promote MDNA at all. She just released an album so she can tour. And these tours of hers always outsell and out gross all of today's pop girls' tours.

Mert & Marcus always make their models look like paintings, it's their thing, it's a style. and most of the pics look fine and not desperate to look younger anyway, it's just how she naturally looks. The first pic, once again, is just terrible lighting
And EVERYONE gets photoshopped. Even BABIES and ANIMALS. your idols get photoshopped as well, but it's all allowed and no big deal because they're young, even if they've done botox and used face tape and all kinds of tricks. Young people are allowed but when you're 50+ you aren't Hmm

But the exact opposite is happening! She is looking amazing for her age the first and worst photo IS PHOTOSHOPPED TO MAKE HER LOOK BAD. They did this also in 2008 to show her "veins" on her arms. All the other outtakes look FINE. It's not about being ethical they just want to put her down because she actually does look AMAZING.
