We download because the cost of music is too high. I can guarantee that if people had to pay $15 for a loaf of bread, we would start stealing that too. We think we are getting robbed by the music industry and this is the way we can ge them back (and not even get caught like we might if stealing that loaf of bread
).
We ask for $5 albums ($3 online) and $0.30 for singles online via itunes and other sources. If that ever happened, then people would start to get their music legally (there would still be some downloaders but people like me would give it up for a reasonable offer like this).
