That's just what is discovered so far. Nintendo should really supply patch notes.
I saw somewhere that Zelda has less ending lag on Din's Fire and I think it might be true after playing. Not sure though. Also, I was landing her down air spike sooooo much tonight. Idk if I just finally figured out how to land it or if it got tweaked.
Also, I finally downloaded and played as Rosalina. The no Luma during grabs thing extends to moves that eat you (Yoshi, Kirby, Dedede) or hold you like (Ganon, Falcon). It's so aggravated to sit there getting chewed on by Yoshi and Luma is right there uncontrollable.
However, the most aggravating change for me is Luma's speed. He comes back when called wayyyy too fast now. I would typically call him back and sneak an attack in on the way back, but now he just zips across the stage.
Up smash's Rosalina hit now hits them into the Luma hit. It has less KO power though but still gets the job done.
Otherwise, she plays the same. Weird possible glitch on her forward air now. If you whiff it, the opponent gets sent straight downward like other multi-hit moves and I never had that happen before. My down airs also seemed to be sending people upward a lot more frequently. I can adjust but I will miss sneaking Luma in from behind. Sad to see the whole two characters at once thing get taken apart a little bit.
King Pikachu got some good buffs! I'm so glad too, I was just starting to use him. His lightning, head butt, forward smash all do a noticeable amount of more knockback.
And I'm glad Palutena's tilts are faster. Zelda NEEDS a buff.
Tbh I don't want another patch to come out until January. The metagame needs time to develop.
Oh yeah and Meta Knight got buffed! a lot of his kills now KO at 40%, 30%, 15%, etc% EARLIER!
I'm so upset at my replays going. I haven't updated yet and I'm sat here watching my 30-something replays with my friend and I'm so reluctant to update. It would take me far too long to record it too. I'm actually gutted.
Just got the email about my bundle being available tomorrow from Best Buy. I was worried I ordered too late since Gamestop and Amazon were consistently sold out. Phew.
Going to a midnight release with a friend tonight though to get his copy. Can't wait for Smash in HD. I remember the first time I played MK8, how amazed I was at a Nintendo game looking pretty while running smoothly. This is gonna blow my mind again since Smash is one of my favorite series.
