I don't think that song got any significant airplay on pop did it? I only remember it charting on urban (maybe rhythmic and/or urban AC too).

I don't think it got much on Pop, but I thought it peaked somewhere in the low top 40 around the grammys in 2013.

You got to remember it has been being rotated by stations since like way before July though. The remix was played alot early this year, plus Alternative picked it up like in January and February. The pop chart was very slow to put it into heavy roation but I'm sure it was getting spins wayy before July on Pop

Royals was getting played in May 2013 but wasn't really taking off until late August.

Habits was getting played in May 2014 but wasn't really taking off until late August.

Even TMTC has been being played on Pop since like mid summer just hasnt started charting in top 50 until last month or so. Clean Bandit too. I remember Pop playing that for a couple months before I even saw it in the top 50 on Pop.
