Some say it was born with Shannon's "Let the Music Play." And most will say it died long ago. But on The Taste, we appreciate all types of genres. So in honor of this totally nostalgic style, you'll be traveling back in time.

From Miami to New York, many artists, most of whom were of Latino descent, were able to top the charts and experience pop stardom as unseen before! But it's up to you to delve real deep and discover... just who had the hottest hit?

In this challenge, you'll be going into the archives and you will select the 1 song by the 1 artist/group that you feel exemplifies the genre of freestyle. You will, like last time, explain your choice with backing claims. A link to the audio MUST BE WITHIN YOUR SUBMISSION, as this week has a catch...

Each and every one of you will be choosing your favorite critique and your least-favorite critique; you will also score them 1-5.
The contestant with the highest MegaCritic () average is going to receive a wonderful gain. But there's no gain without pain, yes?

I picked Don't Stop The Music as her best & Rehab as her worst . DSTM might not objectively be her best but it hold emotional value for me which makes it her best song to me

Yes, I thought the production on WFL was such a let-down. Also, it tries to be this 'personal' song, and it fails at doing that.



PDTM is good though, I remember loving the video (I am getting old ), it's one of my most played Rihanna songs. Most played = Only Girl.
