It came out less than 3 years ago, it was a hit at the same time as "Applause", and its radio airplay is most definitely a form of promotion. But k at your flawed arguments.

You guys do know that SS sales,views,airplay... are combined (orignal+remix) right? (IIRC when it first went platinum the sales were 400k original+600k remix maybe). So STOP considering them separate songs in terms of charts and sales... When I say SS had 285m+ youtube views I'm not only talking about the remix or about the original...

Also, this thread is a mess! Some of you still saying and voting Applause when the answer is clear. I mean SS even charted in Europe when it was first released in July 2012.
