She was listed on Bob Geldof's site.
But maybe she backed out. I wouldn't be THAT disappointed if she did tbh. Though it would be nice to hear her voice again and maybe see her in the video.

Rachel said that the website is run by fans there was a disclaimer so yeah i wouldnt count on that much. I'm like you though i have no problem if she didnt do this.

Oh, so maybe she's not confirmed. The official charts site confirmed her though they might have been speculating as well.
They also haven't tweeted about her on their site as well.
Maybe she's not doing it. Again though, it wouldn't bother me if she didn't.
edit: Or maybe she's meant to be a surprise?

Hi friends, I watched the press conference and they didn't name her in it...they only mentioned her when they named Paul Epworth (Adele's producer). I know they asked her but I haven't seen her name in any official Bob Geldorf letters etc. They even had a contest for people to win a trip to see the recording... He wrote a letter and even in that she wasn't named. Now they could be trying to keep her a secret... But I think the only confirmation we will get is when we see/ hear it. But I'm with you guys... I'd be okay if she didn't do it...

I'd be fine with her not doing it, but it's infuriating that once again she's reported as being involved in something and we're led on to believe it's true, and then it ends up being false. This is absolute bullsh*t. I'm sick and tired of all this waiting around.

Recent interview with Dan Wilson
Quote:
Can you usually tell when a song is going to be a hit rather than an album track? Did you have any idea the Adele song would explode like that?
She told me later when she left the studio that she knew that song was going to change her life, and then she said that again at the Grammys. My response was like, “Wow, Adele is so awesome to write a song with, I hope we get to do another session because that was great!” My perspective was very local like, wow, that was fun, I want to do that again. I didn’t think, oh, that’s going to catapult her.
What about this album in general, did you have any idea she was going to break like that?
No, I didn’t really have that opinion…I had listened to 19 a bunch, I loved “Hometown Glory” and I loved “Chasing Pavements” but in a weird way, I thought of her as more of an art project. She was very popular but she was so believable as a creator and artistically, so it just didn’t seem like a pop juggernaut. It seemed more like this is my reward for becoming more well-known as a songwriter, I get to co-write with someone so creatively focused with such a vision. It really felt like it was more on the art side than the commerce side, then ironically was the most commerce of anything I’ve ever been involved with.
Do you think that allowed her to be more personal and candid when writing about her breakup, not knowing that many people would be listening?
Partly, but there’s a thing that artists need to do when they’re working on something, which is to just embrace the idea they have no privacy in this moment. You have to believe the song is like a private moment between you and your thoughts, but at the same time you have to be really, really willing for anybody to be looking at it. It’s strange because most normal people, if they were told, “Just write in your general!” and then we’ll have the whole world read what you wrote. Most people would naturally start to sugarcoat things or hide their worst traits, to make sure they don’t look weird or ugly or wrong. Most artists are insecure, they don’t want to be seen as ugly and weird and wrong, but they can’t help but put that stuff in their work. They know that’s what’s going to make their art great.
Is she the kind of person who works through sadness or was she already “over it” by the time she was ready to write about her last relationship?
I think when we got together it was pretty fresh and she was still pretty upset, actually.
Did she get real personal talking about it in the studio?
When I’m with someone in the studio, a lot of the time we just tell stories, and it’s fun. There’s usually a lot of laughter, even if someone’s telling a really sad story. If they’re a really good storyteller, you’re just laughing. And Adele’s a really good storyteller. It was mostly just fun and silly.
A friend commented that the Adele song sounded like a different songwriter on the verse and the chorus. Did a different one of you commandeer each?
It was pretty in tandem throughout. She had a vision of what she wanted the song to be like, she thought it was going to be a guitar-based song. When I started playing the piano, she said, “why don’t you try that on the piano?” We suddenly had a whole new momentum, we really started rolling once it was on piano. Whenever I hear that on the radio, a song where one part sounds like it was written by one person and another by another person, it really annoys me. It really bums me out. But I don’t think there was anything like that happening in the studio with Adele.
I think it’s just the transition with the word “nevermind” on the chorus totally swings it around, changes the tone entirely. Not forced, just abrupt.
Yes! It almost feels like a moment in a film. The way the words “nevermind” hits right after the downbeat, takes a tiny breath and comes back at you. It feels almost like a filmmaker trick.
It seems like you’ve had a lot of success with piano-based hits in general.
Mm. It’s true. It was always my dream—I only had one material dream in life. I never thought about cars, I never thought about houses, never thought about things very much. But I always wanted to own a piano. When I was growing up and started thinking about what success would be as a musician and I thought owning my own grand piano would be a success.
When did you finally end up buying one?
I think I was 35. I didn’t have enough space for one until then.

I felt the opposite, I actually kinda like the song (shame, I know ), but thought the video acting was way over the top and it looked like she crashed a Beyoncé set.
But I agree, that guy...

Blank Space and it's music video are both perfect. However, the music video wouldn't be the same without the guy

Blank Space is my ass. I can listen and enjoy any song of Taylor's new album, except this one, WTNY (for obvious reasons) and BB.
