You can bash her for her attitude on Twitter, but remember what Gaga did when the DWUW video went wrong and the label turned against her? She also threw a tantrum. But it's different with Azealia because she's black, she's female, and she's a rapper.

Oh I remember this. I remember it was rumoured it was for Ratchet. Damn, that could've been amazing!

You better spill it hun Azealia actually stays to her artistic vision
and don't compromise like most pop artists today.

Well, I don't disagree with you. I just think that Gaga voicing her opinion in public like that made it an impossibility for them to ever work together. Even if Azealia's attitude ever improved.

You really want to drag this into an arguement? I thought people said Gaga had a victim complex. What a mess.

Something smells fishy from Interscope. No Doubt was mad when their era got cut short, Lady Gaga was upset with the direction they wanted her to go in but ultimately could find compromise, Lana turning into a recluse and getting punished for going against the labels vision, Azealia's album never getting a release date despite being ready (and good) for some time. Whatever they are doing, their artists are not happy (though Gags claims she is in better terms with them now).

Azealia has her own issues. I don't hold any bad will against her, she is a talented woman that just can't keep her mouth shut. She probably screwed things up with Gaga to an irepairable level but I still wish her happiness and success because she is good, despite her own personal demons.

You think I'm just going to sit here and watch people rip one of my other faves to shreds? She's hardly said anything that terrible. She called Perez Hilton a ***? Big deal, she's a great supporter of gay rights. She said Gaga was unoriginal? Big deal, so has pretty much every music blog, professional and unprofessional.
I wish you people would learn to appreciate artists removed from their actions. I love R Kelly on Do What U Want, it doesn't mean i approve of the allegations of sexual contact with a minor. I love Terry Richardson X Lady Gaga, doesn't mean I approve of his sexual assault allegations. I love Azealia's music, doesn't mean I approve of all the comments she's made.
Get some perspective and start taking music for what it is and loving it. I feel sorry for some of you that are so stuck in a cage of arguing about pop girls and all the rivalries

I don't have a victim complex, I'm just defending an artist that means a lot to me in the same way people defend Gaga. I would do the same for Bey, Lana, Nicki, Mariah, etc and I have done many times. I don't have a victim complex, I'm very happy in my own life and unlike a lot of people on this board I don't have to put any unhappiness into living vicariously through a woman in pop music (that's not directed to you GypsyLife).

I said this earlier, if they delayed a classic like BWET that has barely changed since last September because they wanted to change it for more hits, imagine how they might have controlled Gaga.
I appreciate Gaga is more established, but if a label is controlling on many occasions, I wouldn't be surprised if they've done the same to Gaga. I fear most for how they might try to change the next one, especially since they'll want her to have a big comeback.
Get out Gags.

Guys, next year I am probably moving to NY for nine months in a student exchange program. I may be able to see Gaga and give her the biggest hug ever!

I was so disappointed when I found out that Azealia was not on ARTPOP anymore. 1991
is an masterpiece and BWET is even better. I hope that Gaga and Azealia can try to put
things behind them and make some good bops together.
Red Flame and Ratchet are already

My qualm was that you brought race into it.
Usually when people do that it doesn't end well in an online argument.
But do you!

I get you but there was no foul play here, it was just merely discussing who burned what bridge in a non flammatory way (at least that's what I felt) so to bring up these points was a bit of an overkill.

I use to stan for Azealia during the releases of 1991/Fantasea (I mean I had a Stan Twitter, Fantasea dropped on my birthday, everything) but whew Lord.
Her personality was part of the sinking ship + honestly, her music has gone so downhill. It's all sounding the same and indistinguishable. When I tell you I had Fantasea on repeat ALL Summer with 2,000+ plays and now I could barely match 5 songs to how they sound.
It's all squished together. Sadly I think BWET is a little the same. I just remember her serving so much with 1991 + the beginning of Fantasea.
Paparazzi > everything else.

excuse the tragic cover, but you get an idea about how i picture it
1 STATE OF GRACE (t.swift)
2 PUMPED UP KICKS (foster the people)
3 BITCH DON'T KILL MY VIBE (krendrick lamar))
4 ICE PRINCESS (az banks)
5 THIS LOVE (maroon 5)
6 BAD (mj)
7 BILLIE JEAN (mj)
8 NUCLEAR (mike olfield)
9 PARADISE BY THE DASHBOARD LIGHT (meat loaf)
10 SHIVER (maroon 5)
11 BROOKLYN NIGHTS (gaga)
12 FLORIDA KILOS (lana)
13 CLEAN (t.swift)
The tracklist as to what song would they sound like. The album would have a Songs About Jane (Maroon 5), 1989 (Taylor Swift) kind of sound but all Gaga. Something the fans can listen to, the fan's fathers would like to listen and isn't playing right now on the radio but the public likes.

I think you can scratch Maroon 5 out of that list for obvious reasons
Besides I don't mind if she collabs with an artist here or there but not for every song.
Edit: if the record is gonna be Monster 4 Life I see her collabs with people that have always been supportive like a "monster" as well.
